Dear Cath, Poppy and Fynn- I had not spoken to Dave for some time as my work took me to other themes, but as I am working on a piece in drug trafficking I thought yesterday morning of him and learnt about his passing a few hours later. Dave was not only a brilliant thinker and activist, he was also one of the kindest and more sincere person I have met. He always went out of his way to ask about family and your life, and I remember fondly many meals and beers with him throughout the years and the planet. I hope it gives you solace to know he was widely loved and he will be sorely missed.
