Dear Cath, Poppy and Fynn. I am so sorry for your loss and sending my deepest condolences. Dave was such an inspiration to me, personally and professionally. Before anything, he was a good human, a really cool guy and a pleasure to be around. We met through a link-up from Rick on a research project a few years ago and became quite the research team. Our work on Spike on a Bike brought so much joy to Dave, and moving forward, I am so driven to develop everything I do with a bit of DBT mentality, cool, calm and collected, with an equally cheeky grin. Thanks for everything Dave, you really were a star. How you spoke about your children when you found out we were having our little boy Alfie inspired me to be a father. You gave me so much advice and your check-ins meant the world to me. I’ll miss them and I’ll miss you. I will be speaking in Poland next week about our work together, and I will do so with pride, raising a glass to you.
