I have know Bill all my life via Pat and my mum being good friends and myself and Elinor going to primary and secondary school together. I remember the old study which was full of paper and books everywhere I never understood how he knew where everything was!
He was forever making silly jokes that half the time I never understood! (Sorry Bill). I remeber Bill was forever singing to himself when i used to go over after school or watching the tennis or doing whatever with Elinor. He was a fountain of knowledge and I enjoyed hearing storys of his trips.
He was the voice of farther christmas which I always enjoyed hearing on Christmas eve in Conwy and also the santa in Deganwy school which my son Alex loved.
Later on in life I became Pat and Bill's cleaner to help while Bill was going to hospital appointments. Throught his treatment he was the same Bill we all know and love you wouldn't of know what he was going through, still singing and working away. He spoke so proudly of Lucy, Elinor and his grandchildren everytime I saw him. You will be greatly missed. Xxx
