Brigadier-General Constance Edjenani-Afenu was an inspiration to women in peacekeeping, and I include myself among the inspired. I met her in Laayoune last September and heard her describe with good humor how she has persevered professionally with determination and skill. What a loss for peacekeeping and most certainly for her family. My sincere condolences to her family.
