Hi Constance
i still remember you as this bright-eyed thirteen-year-old in debate and how i was shocked after your first speaker speech because you carried yourself with so much ease for a first-year. i immediately knew you had something special in you and that your intelligence was going to take you places. as one of the only consistently participating first/second years within the CAS, i remember joanne and i seeing you fondly and being happy to know that juniors were passionate about debate. you always had a very calming and welcoming presence and i remember you taking the initiative to answer difficult questions, diffusing tension when things were getting heavy and always helping your friends out during drilling debate content and sparring sessions. the maturity you possessed at year 1 and 2 was admirable and it was always a pleasure to watch you debate. it was such an absolute pleasure to be your debate coach. it breaks my heart to hear what happened. i will always remember you as this perceptive thirteen/fourteen-year-old with no fear to challenge. i’m sure that that’s the legacy you leave behind with all your friends and family.
Rest In Peace Constance.
