Hugh was a real lover of present Bangladesh. He is one of the fews; who know the land, soil,climate and cropping of this country. His professionalism and contributions singly to the agriculture is unparallel. I had the opportunity to meet him in 4/5 occasion and could realize the depth of his understanding and the vision of future for agricultural development.
