Mr Hannay along with two others lecturers taught me for P.E throughout my time at max/high ( 2012 - 2016) looking back one of the first things that comes to mind about mr Hannay is how encoraging and helpful he was during lessons, whether it was cheering you on at sports days or running cross country in typical scottish weather or encouraging you to take part in the yearly dances which I loathed with a passion he was always there with a big smile on his face or a shoulder to lean on. Rip Sir you will be dearly missed! My thoughts go out to his family, friends and students or former students ❤️
