I may be fortunate to have not worked with Lauren on CARF standards, however we did a lot of work together on policies and procedures and proposals. She was extremely knowledgeable, and even more patient and supportive. She had the most polite way of suggesting that something I had done didn't make any sense. : ) We shared a love for dogs and lots of doggie mom stories and journeys. I know how much she loved them and their care and quality of life was the most important thing to her. This is a huge loss for CARF and I will very much miss her smile, laughter and extreme kindness.
