What a fabulous character. My memories of Martin as a Social Worker were that he was so organised, he had a file and a contact for everyone. He was extremely reflective and loved to champion the young people he was working with. As a friend he was funny and caring with a wicked sense of humor. I once described him as 'nice' to which he said 'nice? is that the best word to describe me, I am disappointed' - this sums him up perfectly, and of course there are so many better words to describe him.
