Nigel was extremely welcoming when i joined CEP back in 2012 as Postgraduate Administrator. He was an ever present in the Teaching Office, always showing interest in what the students were up to and attending the Thursday night Policy seminars. I went along with him to an Open day in Cambridge and he really flew the flag for CEP and encouraged many new students to apply. I will miss hearing all your stories and catching up on the Man City scores. You really cared for the students past and present and your memory of all their names and options was remarkable. My thoughts are with Elinor and your family at this sad time.
