I had the great pleasure of working with John for many years in the Department of Life Sciences. John made my role as undergraduate year 2 convenor very easy. He co-designed and delivered the excellent, innovative, and challenging Resource Management module. John was a great teacher and this module inspired many of our students to undertake a Master’s degree in the Centre for Environmental Policy. My heartfelt condolences to John’s family, friends and colleagues. He will be missed.
