Barbara & I both belonged to a local group of teenagers who were neighbors growing up in Lyons, Il. She was a great person & a good friend. I have been trying to track down childhood friends & was saddened to read of her passing. Another friend who has passed was Emily (Pejchar) Puddelwitts.. As far as I know, Marlene (Schroeder) Swick is still living. Marlene was also a member of our group that we “hung out with”. I think of all those teenaged friends with good memories. If Barbara’s sister, JeanEllen, reads this, I’m living in Durango CO & would be happy to hear from her.
