I worked with Doug as a site superintendent at Water Works Park a number of years ago and never forgot what a great person he was to know and work with. A few years after I left that project and needed a well respected reference from an electrical contractor to change companies, I called Doug and without hesitation, he said "sure Jimmy, I'd be glad to help." Now retired, and having been in the building trades for nearly 50 years, I know that in the end, you can only put a small handful of coworkers on the top shelf of people you know that were of Doug's caliber. I'm very proud to have known him and very sad to here of his passing.
