OMO OBA OYINADE was born on the 20th of December 1940 in Onitsha, of the then eastern region of Nigeria, now Anambra State into the Family of Omo Oba Richard Caxton Adekanmbi of the Famous Fetuga family of Ijebu-Ode and Mrs. Bernice Olujimi Fetuga (Nee Oyesola) of Abeokuta.
He started his primary level education at St. James Primary School Oke-Bola, in Ibadan Oyo State in 1948 and completed it at Suru-lere Baptist School, Ojuelegba Suru-lere Lagos from 1950-1956. From 1957 to 1961, He attended Baptist Academy Lagos for his Secondary level education and obtained West African School Certificate (WASC).
After his secondary school education, through private study he further obtained a certificate from the City and Guilds of London Institute in Builders Quantities in 1966.
He started his career in 1962 as a Building Inspector with Lagos Town Council now known as Lagos Island Local Government in the Building Control Section of the Town Engineers Department saddled with the responsibility of ensuring buildings are designed and constructed in accordance with building regulations and legislation. He retired in January 1997 as Chief Works Superintendent and went into private practice.
A devout Christian who served God throughout his lifetime as member of the Cathedral Church of Christ Marina Lagos.
He was married to Mrs. Felicia Enitan Fetuga (Nee Cardoso) from the famous Cardoso Family of Lagos, Brazilian quarters in Lagos Island on the 2nd of February 1968 at the Marriage Registry, Broad Street Lagos and marriage is blessed with and survived by six children and fourteen grandchildren.
He is also survived by brothers and sisters, cousins, nephews and nieces.
