What a wonderful personality Nigel Bell was, he was the life and soul of the MSc Environmental Technology back in 2002 - 2003 and genuinely took care and an interest in the students in front of him. I bumped into Nigel occasionally over the years and it was always fantastic to catch up with him and to see him enjoying life to the full. He will be sorely missed, but what a legacy he has left!
