We are all so saddened that Rada had to leave us so young; at an age where she could reap the plentiful fruits of her engagement, her enthusiasm, her foresight, her dedication to education and training, her talents, her forcefulness and her humanity. She was such an inspiration for so many professionals in her country, in the ISSA community and beyond. One could not, not notice Rada, even in a large gathering. There was this sparkle in her eyes, this voice taking the side of those deprived of their rights and their opportunities, these razor-sharp thoughts, this crackling mind and last but not least her infectious laugh.
What made and makes her unforgettable is her singing ranging from boisterous to sad. She could transfix everybody in the room with her voice and songs. I wish I had met her more often, although I met her first two decades ago. I wish I had shared with her more of our life stories and thoughts. I am sure there will be no gathering of Step by Step colleagues or ISSA members in the future, where Rada's humanity will not be remembered and cherished.
