What a wonderful man our Uncle Pete was. Ruby and I have some lovely memories of summers gone by where we would see him on his allotment and he would take the time to spend with us and educate Ruby on all the plants and vegetables he was growing.
My memories of growing up with Uncle Pete always include a wry smile, a daft joke and usually an aside designed to make to you smile.
