Thomas was literally one of the nicest men I have ever met. A soft spoken yet passionate man who breathed new life into a small movement for safe and sustainable energy access for crisis-affected people. He was a visionary - never let the "how"s get in his way. And most importantly - he led from the middle. He included everyone, and he never pressured or bullied. He inspired. He was a leader who shared the space. No ego in the game.
He was basically the dad all of us needed. It breaks my heart to now live in a world without him.
