His light hearted , informal ways were refreshing considering the relation and how we knew the other was in many ways traditional .

Can death be sleep, when life is but a dream,
And scenes of bliss pass as a phantom by?
The transient pleasures as a vision seem,

How strange it is that man on earth should roam,
And lead a life of woe, but not forsake
His rugged path; nor dare he view alone
His future doom which is but to awake.
His journey and relation with His Guru ..the path he took would be one as the sages of the Mundaka upanishad so rightly explain -
As the flowing rivers disappear in the sea , losing their name , their form, thus a wise man , freed from name and form , goes to the Divine person who is greater than the great .
My love and wishes for a beautiful onward journey ..
