Constance, you will always be remembered for your steadfastness and faithfulness. You embraced the meaning of your name fiercely. Constance, you are so much more than these two traits.
I will miss the emails from you championing a change, I will take courage from you and I am going to fight for a change because you inspired me.
You gave everything to all your friends, during tests or exams, I’ll always spot you at a table guiding your classmates that need help. You were academically so strong and your friends looked up to you. But you knew when to have fun, I remember our cohort Zoom Bingo, you ran into the library panting to earn that cup of LiHo but you were too late! We laughed so hard, you had to take off your mask and I saw your bright smile. I should have given you that cup of LiHo...
Despite your brilliance and diligence, you remained grounded and humble. You took on part time jobs during the school holidays and worked quietly during events shunning the limelight. During Soundproof, you stayed at the back and when your friends were dancing, you were furiously typing away in your laptop. You gave so much quietly. But your presence is anything but quiet.
We, the Year 5 cohort will miss you so much. You are a part of us and will always be.
“If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.”
1 Corinthians 12:26 NIV
