I am so very sorry to hear this news. It is a terrible loss. Franz made a great contribution to research and improving the lives of others. He had much more to give. I worked with him on 'governance' and will always remember his theoretical brilliance and insights and his sceptical, quizzical expression when he did not agree with what others were saying - but he did so with a lovely smile. It is hard to believe we will not see him again. My sympathies to his family, friends and colleagues.
