I had the wonderful honor to work closely with Nick over the past 7 years and in doing so we became great friends. He was truly a great man, an inspirational leader with a deep deep passion for refining, its technology and the greatest respect for all the people & relationships he forged. He held incredibly high standards of himself, his work and his team which ensured truly outstanding results in often very challenging times. He did so with suave & style, always asking the right questions , with a wry smile and wonderful dry humor. Enjoying a top quality dinner and exquisite choice of wine were further treats of the Nick friendship. Such a great man, of true stature which I learned so much from and enjoyed every minute of our time. My deepest condolences to Nicks' family , my heart and thoughts are with each of you.
