I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Harold’s family. As a young Social Work activist i did not always appreciate what a trailblazer he was. As I gained experience I came to see that he was actually a brilliant strategic social planner ahead of the curve on approaches to social development we wouldn’t think the least unusual today. Halifax has many numerous solid community organizations offering support and hope to many because of Harold. A wonderful legacy.
