MJB, as he was lovingly known will be so sadly missed by everyone at Specsavers and beyond.
He would be the first person you'd pick up the phone to if you wanted a chat, let off steam or wanted an all-round 'girly goss' with. There have been so many moments over the last few weeks that I've wanted to pick up the phone and call you about what's going on, from things at work to the going on on Ru Paul's drag race.
He was a pillar of our team and was sassy, funny and always quick-witted.
He also cared and wanted to help. Me, Steven and Michael were just on the fringes of setting up Specsavers first LGBT+ group (called PRISM).
This was a project he thoroughly cared about and wanted to improve life for LGBT+ staff throughout the business and was excited about what lay ahead. In his memory, I and many other colleagues will long continue his work with PRISM and do him proud.
He will be so sadly missed. My love and condolences go out to Neil and all his friends and family at this very sad time xxxxx
