I grew up with Barbara's granddaughter Nicole and am truly sorry for the family's loss. Barbara was the best grandmother figure, I loved spending time with her as a kid. I remember she always spoke to me like she really cared about what I had to say which as a little kid made me feel like I mattered. I have fond memories of Barbara taking Nicole and I to the park to play. I also blame her fully for my love of mexican food/introducing me to horchata! She would randomly take Nicole and I out for tacos in Brookfield. :) Barbara was just a wonderful person to be around, I know she will be missed deeply.
