I am very saddened by this news. My sincere condolences to Nigel's family. I was on the first year of the ICCET course that Nigel had been a major party to establishing. He had endless good humour and enthusiasm, for both the course and his students. I remained in contact with him over the rest of my career - attending various ICCET events and conferences - his ability to remember every single student (with affection) that had passed through the doors of that course was astounding. He is sadly missed.
