I’ve known Noel my whole time working for NIR (15 years so far) many of those years serving as his Steam Guard. Noel’s career highlight was also mine when I joined the crew of the Royal Steam Train for the visit of Queen Elizabeth || & Prince Philip in June 2016. He was so excited and proud that day, we all were. It’s a memory I’m very proud to have shared with Noel. Noel was such a genuine man who really cared about his family, his job and his friends (everyone he worked with), over the last week I’ve heard it said many times that Noel “never fell out with anyone”. Not many of us can say that. Noel will be greatly missed and never replaced. I’ll miss you not calling into TCP everyday ❤️
