We have fond memories of Peter and Christ’s Church.
He was always there, either squeezing you into a pew at the packed services of Christmas and Easter, or at the Christmas Fair, often washing up, (wow, was he speedy!) or at the Summer Fair, usually cooking the burgers. He always had a smile for everyone.
Each year he was also largely responsible for beautiful gardens around Harwood. Certainly our garden and the Churchyard. He put in a huge amount of work to secure and sell high quality bedding plants to raise funds for his beloved Scouts.
Peter’s life touched many people and he will be hugely missed by so many.
