I was married to Nigel for about 7 years. We met in Manchester where I was working in the Botany department and where he was studying for his Ph. D. One of my most memorable times with Nigel was supporting Manchester City football team both home and away. And if I remember correctly they won the premiership that year. They are just as successful now! I remember him as a kind and thoughtful person who was a character and larger than life . My thoughts go out to Elinor and his family.
